New course: digital strategy in practice

Many digital transformations fail due to a lack of a good digital strategy. Sometimes the digital strategy is completely absent, sometimes it is too vague or even completely unworkable. And strategists receive little or no feedback for improvement on strategies that are implemented.

In the new TIMAF training course “Strategy in digital transformation”, participants learn how to create, share, implement, measure and optimise a digital strategy for a successful digital transformation. You will work on your own case study and complete the training course with a fully developed digital strategy that you can apply immediately.
Digital strategy
A digital strategy is a predefined plan that determines how the organisation can better achieve its objectives by making optimal use of digital tools. Without a digital strategy, an organisation is vulnerable to disruptions and misses out on the power of innovation.
A digital strategy bridges the gap between new opportunities and business objectives, enabling the organisation to continuously adapt, grow and stay ahead in a world where technology is constantly redefining industries.
No Strategy? No success!
Without a sound set of digital strategies, a digital transformation can never be successful – at least not in the long term. No strategy means simply rolling out digital resources without any vision, direction or improvement. That is not digital transformation, but rather a “I feel lucky” tactic that is doomed to fail.
Organisations often find it difficult to develop a concrete digital strategy, implement it in a targeted manner and link it to the business strategy. The organisation is usually not well equipped to translate the business strategy into a digital strategy. Many organisations are also too fragmented to work together on the implementation of a digital strategy.
And just as often, the organisation has not set up anything to measure and improve the progress of the strategy. So there is a strategy, but its implementation eventually ends up at a dead end. That is a huge waste of energy, time and resources.
Digital Strategy Training
To break this deadlock, TIMAF has developed a practical training course entitled “Strategy in Digital Transformation”. Over three days, you will learn how to create, share, implement, measure and optimise a digital strategy for a successful digital transformation.
Afterwards, each participant will be able to guide the organisation in creating digital strategies and help the organisation align strategy with implementation and continuous improvement.
Participants will use the accompanying book “Strategy in Digital Transformation” and other workshop materials as a guide. Participants will receive the “TIMAF Digital Strategy Specialist” certificate.
