The digital promise becomes bogged down in the everyday reality and people get stuck with new digital tools. But it is no longer the transformation that was so urgently needed.
The problem is that organisations do not reflect on their current digital maturity. If you do not know where you stand, you can never determine what is needed to achieve the ambition. You also cannot realistically estimate how long it will take to take a step further.
